Full Description

PRN 42201 A Romano-Saxon carinated bowl with a row of depressions was found at Banovallum School. {1}{2}{3} The vessel is greyware, it is almost certainly 4th century in date and quite possibly a Lincoln Swanpool product. This type of dimpled decoration is often referred to as 'Romano-Saxon', although this is misleading as the design has nothing to do with a the Saxons. {4}
