Full Description
DURING CONSTRUCTION WORK IN RED LION INN YARD, WORKED SANDSTONE FACED BLOCKS WERE FOUND 1FT BELOW THE MODERN SURFACE. IN 1826 HUMAN BONES WERE FOUND DURING EXCAVATION OF THE PUB'S FOUNDATIONS. SKELETONS HAVE ALSO BEEN FOUND ON THE N SIDE OF SKEGNESS ROAD. {1}{2}
