Full Description

Two early medieval coins were found in 1977 on land at Claxby St Andrew. One of the coins was an Anglo-Saxon silver sceatta of uninscribed 'Porcupine' type, whilst the other was a silver penny of Cnut, dated to 1017. {1}{2}
