The base and shaft of the churchyard cross remain and are 44.5 inches high. {1}{2} The monument includes the base and lower part of the shaft of a medieval limestone standing stone cross, located in the churchyard of St Thomas of Canterbury's church, Mumby, to the south east of the south porch. It has an octagonal base which supports a square tapering cross shaft with facetted angles and stop chamfers.
