Full Description
Ploughing of part of the site of Roughton Park has revealed numerous finds including pottery. This seems to be largely Bolingbroke ware. One sherd was stamped with the letters 'ASRS' but the maker has not been identified. The farmer suggests there is other material on the site including cut and dressed stone and bone. {1}
