Full Description

A palaeolithic flint handaxe was found in 1930, on land at Kenwick Farm, Legbourne. The axe was ovate in shape, and was donated to Louth Museum. Later prehistoric worked flints were also recovered from the same area c.1960 (see MLI126893). {1}{2}{3}
