Full Description
Remains of the shrunken medieval settlement of Haugham, including a very marked sunken road at TF 337 817, are visible as earthworks, identified on aerial photography by the National Mapping Programme. {1}{2}
A scatter of medieval pottery was found in the ploughed field to the south of the church at Haugham (PRN 41829a - TF 3360 8130). The assemblage included sherds of Stamford ware and a spout from a Shelly ware vessel. {3}
