Full Description
St Vedast Church dates from the Norman period (1066AD to 1200AD) with a tower arch and three or four courses of stone just above the ground dating to this period. The remainder is mainly of 18th to 19th century. {1}{2}{3}
A parish church dating from the early 12th century which underwent alterations in the late 18th century and in 1857. It was constructed of green sandstone rubble and red brick with limestone ashlar dressings and has slate roofs with a stone coped east gable and chevroned brick eaves.
