GROOSE LANE, A NAME OF MEDIEVAL ORIGIN. IN THIS AREA BOTH MEDIEVAL AND SOME POST MEDIEVAL MATERIAL WAS FOUND INCLUDING GREEN AND BROWN GLAZED RIMS, BASES AND BODY SHERDS. {1} AT THE SAME LOCATION A POSSIBLE HOUSE SITE PRODUCING MUCH MORTAR, GLAZED BRICK, TILE AND MORE POTTERY WAS FOUND. {2}
