POSSIBLY A SHRUNKEN MEDIEVAL VILLAGE. THE EARLIER CHURCH NOW REPLACED BY ST MARY'S DATES C12. {1}
During a watching brief in 2002 at TF5596 6584, a sherd of thirteenth to fifteenth century pottery was recovered. See also PRN 44566.{2}{3}
