Full Description

Romano-British site seen during construction of sea defences. Pottery dating to 2nd and 3rd centuries was recorded together with brick and bone. The hand bricks are now in the British Museum and the pottery is held at Lincoln City and County Museum. {1}{2}{3} More pottery and animal bones were seen when a small area of the site was washed away in 1953. {4}
