Full Description

A late 18th century manor house of five bays and two and a half storeys. Probably associated with the moat PRN41459. {1} A late 18th century manor house with minor 19th century alterations. The building is in red brick in Flemish bond with a stone-coped, slate roof. It is L-plan and of three storeys with a five bay front facade. The interior retains the shutters and doors and, in the right hand room, a moulded wooden fire surround. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with multiple regular yards. The farmhouse is attached to a range of working buildings. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {3}
