Full Description

Possible site of a medieval leper hospital at Louth. The hospital is briefly mentioned in documents dating to 1314 and 1488, although nothing further is known. This area is a small hill to the south of the town, called Spital Hill; it retains no surface indications of a hospital, however. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}{6}
