Full Description
PRN 41390
Excavations on the site of Mount St Mary revealed a series of floors, surfaces and walls, including ashlar blocks. These were initially thought to represent a small chapel that is thought to have existed on the site, but evidence shows that the building was more likely to have been domestic in form. Large quantites of medieval tile, animal remains, glass and pottery, including green glazed wares were recovered from the site. {1}{2}{3}
