Full Description

The Grange is a 19th century farmstead, although the placename could suggest that the site was previously the location of a former monastic grange. Historic Ordnance Survey mapping of this area shows the farm to have the classic layout of the mid 19th century High Farming movement, with the main farm buildings arranged around a central courtyard, and the detached farmhouse located a short distance to the north-east. {1}{2}
