Full Description

Several sherds from a Neolithic Beaker vessel were found in 1894, during the digging of a post hole at Beacon Hill. The pottery was thought to be from a beaker of Clarke's Final Southern British Group (S4). A flint flake was said to have been found at the same time, although its exact association was not recorded. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
