Full Description
A nineteenth century farmstead and place name evidence for a manor. {1}
Supposed moat on OS map sheet but is likely to be remains of ditched cut as part of comprehensive drainage system. {2}
Manor Farm, South Somercotes. 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. The farmhouse is the only surviving historic structure. Located within a Church and/or Manor farm group. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {3}
