Now derelict, this tower mill is one of the oldest in the country. It is said to be dated c.1770. It originally had three pairs of stones and was driven by four roller reefing sails. It was largely rebuilt in the late 1890s, gaining extra storeys, a new cap and fantail and four patent sails. Work continued until c.1951, and it was subsequently pulled to pieces. It now stands completely derelict and disused although there is the possibility that it may be converted into a house. {1} Tower mill which is Grade II Listed.
