Full Description

Supposed site of the extinct hamlet of Cawthorpe. The settlement is mentioned as a dependant of Covenham in the Lay Subsidy of 1334. No surface evidence of deserted medieval settlement was noted, however, during site visits conducted in 1963. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
