Full Description

The name North Ormsby manor appears on early Ordnance Survey maps and is placename evidence for a manor. {1}{2} North Ormsby Manor is a fine mid 19th century villa, built in the Italianate style. The house is thought to be a replacement of an earlier structure depicted on drawings made by the Ordnance Survey in 1818. {3} North Ormsby Manor (Manor House), North Ormsby. Extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of U plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. Located within a Church and/or Manor farm group. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {4}
