41125 FIELDWALKING 1976 PRODUCED MEDIEVAL AND POST MEDIEVAL POTTERY INCLUDING POTTERHANWORTH, DELFT, LINCOLN, TOYNTON, STAMFORD AND BOURNE B WARES. ALSO FOUND WERE 2 CLAY PIPE BOWLS DATED 1650-60 AND 1670-1700, MEDIEVAL WHETSTONE AND A SHEEP'S BELL. {1} ELIZABETHAN COIN FOUND AT TF35905070 {2}, HTM 4M During a watching brief at Plot 2 Amos Way, two sherds of thirteenth to fifteenth century pottery were recovered. They were from a Toynton All Saints ware jug. A fragment of post medieval tile was also recovered. A large cut feature was also identified, and has been interpreted as a post medieval dyke or pond. {3}{4}
