Full Description

THE SITE OF A POSSIBLE EARLY BRONZE AGE BURIAL BUT NOT MARKED BY A MOUND, HOLLOW OR SOILMARK. THERE ARE SOME STREAKS OF HUMOSE DARK GREY CLAY AND BURNT CLAY WHERE THE PLOUGH HAS INTERMITTENTLY STRUCK BURIED MATERIAL. 1 EARLY BRONZE AGE RIM FRAGMENT FROM A COLLARED URN, PROBABLY FUNERARY. FLINTS ARE LATE NEOLITHIC/EARLY BRONZE AGE TYPES INCLUDING FRAGMENTS OF A PLANO- CONVEX KNIFE. {1}, AREA 0.02H, HTM 2M
