Full Description

A looped palstave was found at the bottom of Silver Pit Pool, the largest and deepest of the pools in the East Fen. Silver Pit Drain is now incorporated in modern drainage. Originally noted by Banks in 1821. {1}{2}{3} A. White states that Sir J. Banks also noted another palstave from here. {4}
