ROMANO BRITISH SETTLEMENT SITE. DEFINED AS THREE DISTINCT CONCENTRATIONS BY THE FENLAND SURVEY; EKE 15A - GREYWARE SHERDS AND 2 LARGE LUMPS OF SLAG RECOVERED. EKE 15B - GREYWARE, MORTARIA, COLOUR COATED WARE AND SLAG RECOVERED EKE 15C - GREYWARE, SHELL GRITTED WARE AND COLOUR COATED WARE RECOVERED TOGETHER WITH SOME SLAG. DISTINCT AREAS OF DARKER SOIL PRESENT AND CHALK/MORTAR AND BURNT MATERIAL HAS BEEN CAUGHT BY THE PLOUGH. {1}, AREA 0.15H, HTM 61M
