PRN 40987 now incorporating record 40984 POSSIBLE MEDIEVAL SETTLEMENT INDICATED BY SLIGHT SOILMARK AND SCATTER OF UNGLAZED MEDIEVAL POTTERY. (PROBABLY C15). ALSO FOUND WERE SOME ROMANO BRITISH SHERDS AND 2 BONES. {1}, AREA 0.03H, HTM 64M TF 3757 6375 -MEDIEVAL SETTLEMENT INDICATED BY CONCENTRATION OF POTTERY, BUILDING RUBBLE AND SOME TILE. ALSO FOUND WAS A SHELL AND SOME BONE. {2}, AREA 0.05H, HTM 61M The National Mapping Programme recorded earthwork enclosures and crofts in this area. {3}
