Full Description

A moated site which has been converted into a ha-ha. {1} Site of possibly medieval moats. Visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946. The earthworks were levelled in 1956 with the exception of small ditch to the east and south of the manor house. Nothing structural or material was found during this work. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5} Very faint changes in height are visible on LIDAR imagery at the location of the western ditch of the north moat. {6}
