Full Description

All Saint's Church was built of greenstone. It was much restored in 1873 but retains Early Norman (1066AD to 1100AD) and Perpendicular (1180AD to around 1520AD) features. The south doorway is Norman. The church retains an Early English four-bay arcade and decorated north aisle windows. It also has a Perpendicular tower, south porch entrance, north doorway, perp and octagonal font. A Nuremburg token was found in the churchyard. {1}{2}{3}{4} A parish church dating from the early 12th century which underwent alterations in about 1200 and the late 14th and 15th centuries and was restored in 1872 to 1873 by Ewan Christian.
