SURFACE FINDS PLOUGHED UP IN 1976, OF ROMAN POTTERY INCLUDING LATE FOURTH CENTURY SHELLYWARE RIM, AN ABRADED GREYWARE RIM AND BODY SHERDS, ONE POSSIBLY SECOND CENTURY WHITE FABRIC NECK SHERD OF FLAGON, AND A SHERD OF A GREYWARE COLANDER. FURTHER FINDS INCLUDE SWANPOOL COLOUR COAT, TILES (ONE WITH DOG FOOTPRINT), RIM SHERD WHITE FABRIC MORTARIUM, 18TH CENTURY POTTERY (PRN 40768) AND AN UNDATED KNIFE BLADE. {1}{2}{3}
