The church is chiefly Early English with an early Norman font. {1}
The west tower is Norman in date (1066AD to 1200AD) and is unbuttressed. The tall narrow tower arch suggests it is 11th century in date. {2}
A parish church dating from the late 12th century which underwent alterations in the 14th century and in about 1779. It was restored in 1868.
