Full Description

A spout from a 15th century medieval bronze vessel was found in 1975, on land to the south-west of Binbrook. {1} The spout takes the form of a dog's head, with a carved back to fit against the shoulder of the jug and a tubular orifice projecting from the dog's mouth. The casting is in one piece. {2}
