Full Description

A FIELD PATH IN A DIRECT LINE WITH THE STRETCH OF SUSPECTED ROMAN ROAD RUNNING PAST GREAT TOWS. {1} A probable Roman road has been recorded as surviving as earthworks running north-west/south-east continuing this line to the south east. It runs towards the late prehistoric to Roman settlement of Ludford. {2}
