Full Description
THE SITE OF A SMALL EARTHWORK WHICH WAS LEVELLED AND PLOUGHED IN THE 1950s. THE FARMER RECOLLECTS IT AS A MUTILATED MOUND ABOUT 4.5FT HIGH. A SOIL MARK IS VISIBLE UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS. {1} AT TF27446365 A SMALL EARTHWORK IS SHOWN BUT NOT NAMED. {2} THE PUBLISHED EARTHWORK WAS LEVELLED AND PLOUGHED OVER ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO. NO FINDS OF INTEREST ARE KNOWN AND THE SITE IS NOW UNDER PASTURE. {3}
