Full Description

Remains of former enclosures at Bede Houses, Tattershall. They may form part of the remains of medieval settlement or could be directly associated with Tattershall College, although a later, post-medieval date can not be discounted. The features were discerned as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs examined by the Witham Valley National Mapping Programme. {1}{2} Magnetic anomalies likely representing these enclosures and associated features were recorded in the summer of 2009, during magnetometry survey of land around Tattershall Castle. {3}
