Full Description
The site of a round barrow (tumulus), the diameter is 28 paces, the height 2 feet, and it is much spread by ploughing.{1}
The site has been surveyed. There is a mound reduced by ploughing to a maximum height of 0.4m; it appears to be artificial and its topographical position and situation adjacent to High Street support its classification as a barrow.{2}
