PRN 40363 St Mary's Church, Hainton contains Saxo-Norman and Early English details. {1}{2} Stained glass in this church dates to the late 14th to 15th centuries. {3} A parish church dating from the 11th century which underwent alterations in the late 13th century, in c.1763 possibly by Capability Brown and was heavily restored in 1848 by Willson. It was constructed of coursed ironstone and limestone rubble with limestone ashlar dressings and has slate roofs. Internally there are dedicated monuments.
