Full Description

A V-shaped ditch, noticed in the section in a gas pipe trench. The ditch was 4 foot 9 inches wide and 3 feet deep below the top soil. It was filled with black earth with a layer of red earth towards the bottom. Two sherds of possible Iron Age pottery were found in the ditch fill. The ditch is at right-angles to the pipe trench, about 40 yards west of a track leading to Wragby Barn. {1}
