The almshouses - a plain brick terrace of five cottages. The inscription on them reads: 'this hospital and school were erected in the year 1727 by Jane Dymoke'. {1}
Five almshouses built of red brick in 1727 and altered in the 20th century. They have a pantile roof with stone coped gables and kneelers, two axial ridge stacks and a single ridge stack.
