BARBED AND TANGED ARROWHEAD, IRON AGE AND RB POTTERY, AND RB SKELETONS FOUND. {1} A POLISHED CELT, BARBED AND TANGED ARROWHEAD, SOME POSSIBLY IRON AGE SHERDS OF POTTERY, A PIECE OF SAMIAN AND 2ND-3RD CENTURY RB POTTERY AND FRAGMENTARY REMAINS OF TWO (AND PROBABLY MORE) HUMAN SKELETONS FOUND. 'THESE FINDS WERE ALL MADE IN THE PERIOD 1930-35 BY SCHOOL CHILDREN OF HATTON SCHOOL', THE TEACHER SAID THAT THE SKELETONS, IA AND RB POTTERY, AND ONE ARROWHEAD CAME FROM GRAVEL PIT, CENTRED AT TF18427640, AND NOW FILLED IN. THE ARROWHEAD, ACC. NO. 96.35, AND IRON AGE POTTERY ARE HELD IN THE CITY AND COUNTY MUSEUM. THE POLISHED AXE IS A DUPLICATE (SEE PRN 40299). THE SKELETONS WERE CLASSIFIED BY THE BRITISH MUSEUM AS ROMANO-BRITISH IN DATE. {2}
