VILLAGE OF LANGTON. FIELD PATTERN, SCATTERED HOUSES AND OBVIOUS REDUCTION IN THE SIZE OF THE CHURCH - ST MARGARET'S CHURCH (PRN 40259). IT IS SUGGESTED THAT THE SITE IS THAT OF A SHRUNKEN MEDIEVAL VILLAGE. MEDIEVAL SHERDS WERE FOUND ON THE SITE IN 1976-7, WHEN THE SITE WAS BEING DEVELOPED FOR HOUSING.
