QUANTITIES OF POTTERY AND TILE WASTERS FOUND ON SCHEDULED SITE OF KIRKSTEAD ABBEY. THE FORMS INCLUDE TOYNTON/OLD BOLINGBROKE TYPE, INCLUDING BUNG-HOLE STORAGE JARS IN EXTREMELY SANDY FABRIC. CITY AND COUNTY MUSEUM ACC NO. 46.72. MORE POTTERY COLLECTED BY WHITE IN 1971.{1} KILNS POSSIBLY POST DISSOLUTION AS PREVAILING WIND WOULD BLOW THE FUMES ACROSS THE SITE. WILL OF FRANCIS MOODY A POTTER OF 1610 HAS BEEN NOTED IN THE SMR FILE.(LAO), HTM 7
