CAMPNEY GRANGE COULD BE THE SITE OF THE HAMLET OF CAMPNEY WHICH OCCURS IN THE FEET OF THE FINES.{1} NO SURFACE INDICATIONS OF DESERTION. THE PRESENT BUILDING DATES FROM THE 18TH TO THE 20TH CENTURY.{2}{3}
