A SCATTER OF POTTERY FOUND ALONG 50M LENGTH OF THE BANK. IN CITY AND COUNTY MUSEUM. ACC NO. 113.79.
FURTHER FINDS IN THIS AREA INCLUDE MEDIEVAL AND POST MEDIEVAL POTTERY, ANIMAL BONE, TILE AND STONE FOUND IN THE EROSION FACE OF RIVER BANK AT LOW WATER BY MR HOYES, FARMER AT NEWSTEAD FARM. FINDS MOSTLY OF 13TH AND 14TH CENTURY DATE. NOW IN CITY AND COUNTY MUSEUM ACC NO. 58.80. {1}
