Full Description

PRN 40026 St Margarets church is mentioned in 1562. It is recorded as dilapidated in 1808 and was rebuilt in same year. It was again dilapidated in 1904. {1}{2} Although disused and rebuilt much of the original architectural features remain. {3}{4} A parish mortuary chapel, now closed and used as a store, dating from the 14th century. It was altered in 1808 and underwent restoration in 1913 by H. F. Traylen.
