PRN 35084
DURING EXCAVATIONS AT UFFINGTON ESTATE GOLF COURSE ROMAN REMAINS WERE RECORDED. THESE INCLUDED THE REMAINS OF A DITCHED ENCLOSURE AND A SINGLE PIT. A SMALL INHUMATION CEMETERY WAS ALSO RECORDED, BUT THIS WAS NOT WELL DATED, AND COULD HAVE BEEN SAXON (35085). A FEW ROMAN SHERDS WERE ALSO RECOVERED DURING FIELDWALKING. {1}{2}
