PRN 35079 DURING AN EVALUATION ON LAND AT THE UFFINGTON ESTATE IN ADVANCE OF THE GOLF COURSE MANY PREHISTORIC FLINTS WERE RECOVERED DURING FIELDWALKING. THERE WERE TWO CONCENTRATIONS; ONE IN THE WEST SEEMED TO BE LATE NEOLITHIC/BRONZE AGE IN DATE, WHILST THE OTHER 600 M TO THE SOUTH EAST WAS PROBABLY MESOLITHIC IN DATE, WHILST THERE WAS LATER MATERIAL THERE. {1}{2}
