PRN 35063
A SINGLE TILE OF POSSIBLE ROMANO-BRITISH DATE WAS RECOVERED FROM THE FILL OF A POSSIBLE PALAEOCHANNEL DURING A WATCHING BRIEF ON THE PROPOSED LAGOON AT STOKE ROCHFORD GOLF COURSE. IT WAS PROBABLY REDEPOSITED, ALTHOUGH IT IS ENTIRELY POSSIBLE THAT THERE WAS ROMANO- BRITISH ACTIVITY IN THE VICINITY OF THE SITE.{1}{2}
