Full Description

PRN 35019 ARCHAEOLOGICAL FEATURES IDENTIFIED DURING A WATCHING BRIEF COMPRISE AN EAST- WEST DITCH AND A POSSIBLE POND WHICH MAY BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE CAR DYKE AT THIS POINT. ROMANO-BRITISH POTTERY WAS RECOVERED, ALTHOUGH THIS MAY HAVE BEEN PRESENT DUE TO THE IMPORTATION OF MATERIALS DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE C19 RAILWAY. HOWEVER, THE TYPE OF FINDS RECOVERED IS TO BE EXPECTED IN THE VICINITY OF BOURNE. {1}{2}
