Full Description

Five sherds of medieval pottery were found in this location in September 1996, during archaeological monitoring at Old Hall Farm. The pottery was recovered from a probable medieval buried soil layer, with all five sherds being of 13th century Potterhanworth-type ware, and from probable cooking pots. It is possible that all five sherds were originally from the same vessel. {1}{2}
