Full Description

Holly House is a Grade II listed house, built in the late 17th century, altered in the early 19th century and added to in the mid 19th century. {1} Holly House is a two storey hall and cross-wing house of coursed rubble sandstone construction with ashlar dressings dating to the mid/late 17th century. It was altered in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. {2} Holly House, Barrowby. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with L-plan range plus detached buildings to the third side of the yard. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. {3}
