Full Description
Post-Medieval activity at the site at Swaton Crossroads is thought to be represented primarily by quarry pits, which were later filled in. A posthole alongside one of the pits may be associated with the quarry workings, or with the division of land. A ditch was also identified, and interpreted as a former field boundary. {1}{2}
